Amanda Pope is the Director of City Receiverships at Jones & Mayer. Ms. Pope has dedicated her legal career to representing public entities. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Riverside and in private practice, she represented cities and counties throughout California in various aspects of code enforcement. Ms. Pope specializes in Health and Safety Code Receiverships and manages the firm’s city receivership program, which enables our client cities to obtain the appointment of a receiver through the court to abate substandard properties and public nuisances.

Ms. Pope has taught several classes on receiverships and various subjects pertaining to the legal aspects of code enforcement throughout California.
