We have served as general counsel to CSSA, CPCA, CPOA and CSCA for periods of time ranging from five (5) to twenty-five (25) years.  We serve as counsel to the Executive Committees, Boards of Directors, Presidents, Executive Directors, and various committees of the associations.  We provide legal support on contractual matters, personnel issues, and legislative proposals.  We research, prepare and argue amicus curiae briefs in state and federal courts, on behalf of the associations.  We prepare and submit legal opinions on behalf of the associations, at the request of the state Attorney General, prior to his office issuing a formal Opinion of the Attorney General on matters impacting on law enforcement.  In addition we provide training on a variety of matters for the membership of the associations.
