In addition to providing City Attorney services our firm also provides General Counsel Services for Redevelopment Agencies, Joint Power Authorities and other special agencies such as the Gateway Cities Council of Governments and the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments. The firm also serves as General Legal Counsel to law enforcement, including the California State Sheriff's Association (CSSA), the California Police Chiefs' Association (CPCA), California Peace Officers' Association (CPOA), and the Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority (SASSFA).

As General Counsel the firm provides legal services related to redevelopment law, including condemnation proceedings, real estate acquisitions, project negotiations, and drafting and implementing owner participation and disposition and development agreements. The firm also provides advice on employment matters, personnel and labor issues, the California Public Records Act (CPRA), conflicts of interest, internal investigations and Pitchess motions. We have drafted and reviewed policy and procedural manuals and successfully defended agencies in litigation matters including writs of mandate.
