As a legal advisor to law enforcement agencies we provide on-going advice, guidance and representation to the agency, working through the sheriff or the chief of police. We assist in reviewing and analyzing legal issues confronting managers and supervisors in administering their agencies and provide interpretations of court decisions and legislation which might impact on the operation of a law enforcement agency. We serve as counsel to the agency in an effort to reduce the potential for litigation and, if necessary, defend against lawsuits which have been filed.  We provide training for members of the agency in order to keep them apprised of changing laws which affect their duties.
